Job Description

As a Data Scientist Intern, you will tackle real-world challenges and develop innovative solutions. This internship for recent MBA graduates with a passion for data and a desire to leverage their business acumen and analytical skills to drive impactful insights and strategies in the music tech industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights that drive business decisions and enhance user experience.

• Model Development: Develop and implement machine learning models to improve music recommendation systems and personalize user experiences.

• Business Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data science initiatives with business objectives and marketing strategies.

• Data Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders, including product managers and marketing teams.

• Experimentation: Design and analyze A/B tests to inform product development and marketing strategies.

• Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to share insights and recommendations with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• MBA Degree: Recent MBA graduate from a top-tier program with a strong academic background.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with SQL.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.

• Business Acumen: Ability to connect data insights to product and business strategies and outcomes.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

• Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Passion for Music Technology: Enthusiasm for music tech and a keen interest in staying updated with the latest industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

• Prior experience in a data-driven role or internship in a music tech company.
